Dear stage builders, prop makers, set builders, grips, camera experts, carpenters, DIY enthusiasts, makers and all-round tinkerers, We are currently casting for the new commercial of a well-known German Hardwarestore chain. We are looking for 4 people (approx. 20–40 years old) based in Europe who have hands-on experience in building, tinkering, or constructing – for example in areas such as crafts, set construction, metal or woodworking, CAD/3D modelling, film or camera setups, or similar maker fields. This is a special kind of project: the participants will actually build something together as part of a scripted documentary-style format. We are therefore looking for people with real practical skills – with or without on-camera experience. Each person will receive a fee of €10,000. Further details can be found below. You do not need to be a professional crafts-person or digital-design-pro, but you should have real experience and a passion for building or making things. We are looking for practical makers, who enjoy experimenting, building and figuring things out together. You should have at least one skill you're confident in. And perhaps you find yourself in several and can combine them. Or you love doing something that is similar to what we just pointed out!
