We're Astrallax Pictures, an indie film production company based in Yerevan, Armenia, currently working on two new projects — with more already on the horizon. We're looking for an editor to join us as a creative collaborator and help shape the final cut. What we're looking for Someone with a sharp eye for pacing and tone, comfortable working across genre — we're currently juggling horror and dark comedy. One of our projects, a horror short about a man whose existence is systematically erased after receiving an ominous message, has a key mirror shot built around clone/split-screen compositing — the kind of scene where the edit and the VFX have to work hand in hand to really land the unease. If you love solving puzzles like that and finding the rhythm of a scene, we'd love to talk. What this is A collaboration-based opportunity, not a paid gig right now — we can't offer compensation at this stage. What we can offer is real creative ownership over the edit, a shot at making something that actually competes on the festival circuit, and a growing body of work to put on your reel. If you're drawn to the idea of building something ambitious from the ground up rather than just filling a credit, this could be a great fit. Comment or DM if you're interested — happy to share more about the projects.
