NO IDEA is an experimental indie sci-fi/horror micro-short written and directed by Tramelle Stroman. The film follows a man walking alone at night who notices an unusual light in the sky. What begins as a seemingly simple encounter gradually takes an unexpected turn. The film is dialogue-free and relies on visual storytelling, atmosphere, performance, composition, camera movement, lighting, and sound to create tension and mystery. The project is intentionally minimalistic and designed to explore how much cinematic impact can be created with a small production setup. I’m looking for a NYC-based cinematographer/DP who is excited by experimental filmmaking and can collaborate on the visual approach, shot list, and minimalistic storyboard/visual shot plan.
